The Healing Process Following a Microblading Procedure

The Healing Process Following a Microblading Procedure

It’s important to know that your new eyebrows will go through a healing process that can take 3-4 weeks. Immediately following the procedure, the color of the pigment will look very dark, but will gradually soften.  When the healing process begins during the first week, you can expect itching and flaking to occur. This is a naturally occurring process of your new eyebrows eliminating dry skin.  Aftercare instructions will help reduce these symptoms.

After the first week, the color pigment may appear quite light as it is absorbed deep into the skin.  However, in the following week, skin cells push the pigment up to the top layer of the skin. You will be able to see the true pigment color 3-4 weeks after your procedure. There will be a perfecting touch-up procedure in 5-6 weeks after your initial treatment, and a color freshen-up in approximately 3 months.

Once you are completely healed, you will have gorgeous, natural-looking eyebrows.
